Sunlight on the sill
Painted on the table in a house in Scotland in the autumn with sun pouring in and birds feeding on nuts outside the window. I was immediately taken by the colours of the pink pot and the garden beyond.

An immediate response to an interior scene with a sparkling garden outside , a mass of greens and pines in the distance. On the sill light pouring in and a bird feeding on nuts. I painted this in gouache as i like the rich opaque colours with bright greens and pinks.
